Double Nickel Entertainment is a production company specializing in the creation of motion picture and television content for exploitation and distribution around the world. The company is headed by Jenette Kahn, former longtime President and Editor-in-Chief of Time Warner’s DC Comics division, the largest English language publisher of comic books in the world and home to such iconic characters as Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, and Adam Richman, former Senior Vice President of Production and Development for Motion Picture Corporation of America.

Ms. Kahn brings with her an extraordinary track record of building a hugely successful company, launching multiple new properties, and leveraging them into immensely profitable films, while Mr. Richman brings an intimate knowledge of both the creative and financial sides of the industry with extensive hands-on experience in the areas of marketing and domestic/international distribution. Double Nickel has over fifteen projects in various stages of development, production and release. These include:

A $45 million feature starring and directed by Clint Eastwood. Wide released by Warner Bros in 2009, it is Mr. Eastwood’s second most successful film ever commercially, trailing only AMERICAN SNIPER, grossing over $270,000,000 theatrically.

Set up with Focus Features at Universal. Written by acclaimed crime novelist Gregg Hurwitz, directed by Colin Trevorrow (JURASIC WORLD, STAR WARS), and starring Naomi Watts, Jaeden Lieberher (ST. THE KING OF UPWARE (Television Series)
Based on the life of Richard Fielder. While on spring in the Fens, in Victorian England, Richard falls in love with a local woman and stays behind. The Fens, rich in the world’s best fertilizer (Coprolite) and an essential opium trading post, was being exploited by the British Empire. Aghast at this treatment, Richard leads the Fens in a revolt against the Queen.
